After a really early start (04:30, without breakfast) we drove back to Dunnotar castle to photograph the sunrise (the only one there was, while we were in Scotland). After we ran, climbed, crawled to the beach as quickly as possible we managed it to get some great pics ... what a way to start a brand new day!!!

After that great start we headed for the little village Pitlochry where we wanted wo visit Edradour Distillery (which was recommended by some guys we met in Carrbridge). Because of our early start we had enough time to get a breakfast before the distillery opened for visitors. After the tour through Scotlands smallest distillery (good tour if you're in the area; not worth it if you have to drive there only for that purpose) we drove to Rannoch Moore, a great landscape in the heart of Scotland.

Rannoch Moore was one of our „must see"-destinations since we have seen the multivision-show by Gereon Roemer (www.gereon-roemer.de). His beautiful landscape shots made it to one of our „fixed points" on our tour. Near the end of Loch Rannoch we found a really great place to stay for the night, with great views for a (hopefully beautiful) sunrise the next morning (which didn't happen). Ines tried to swim in the (damn cold) loch ... which was almost successful ... as the loch was really shallow at that place the „swimming" was only a „lie down and roll to get wet" ... :P

I tried to get some wildlife shots during a couple of pauses in the rain, but without much success despite seeing a couple of different animals (weasels, birds, roe deer, etc.).
